Ipad Mini Doesnt Delete Everything

I frequently clear safari history, and double click side button to swipe away everything. But when I open the ipad, I still get the odd page come back that I have deleted days ago. Is There amother way to delete everything I have opened?

Settings>Safari>Advanced>Website Data>Remove all

Thanks scorpiojo, will that just remove history, I dont want to remove things like Bookmarks or my Photos etc ...

Don't worry, just the history..bookmarks etc are safe...but you'll have to log in again on here :)
