Preventing Prickly Heat

Can you prevent prickly heat? Is there anything I can take on the run up to my holidays?

We have had a lovely day today and I have had a really bad outbreak of it!

Lanacane powder is good at relieving the itchiness

I have cream for the itchy but I really want to prevent it if possible, I have 2 weeks in the sun coming up and don't want to walk around looking like a prickle bush!

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate. Worked for my dad who has suffered for years.

Although I tan very easily and rarely burn I always get this. I tried the Piz Buin allergy as had also read that it can be sun cream that causes it but it didn't help much. I also now take an allergy tablet daily which has helped. Funnily enough it literally disappears on the plane home. Never had it in UK though.

try aloe vera juice on it. soothes and removes some of the fire.
