Boil Or Simmer For Hot Chocolate?
5 Answers
I recently boiled milk in a pan before adding the hot chocolate powder and boiling it again but the second time that I boiled it with the powder, it started to evaporate and made a mess.
So how many minutes for each boil? or should had I have simmered it instead?

Once the milk starts to move around the edges of the pan then I remove from the heat and serve. I never ever ever boil milk for any drink even once, let alone twice because I think it makes the milk taste disgusting. If its one of the instant type mixes, then I would dump it in the mug, pour on a little hot milk, mix then dump in the rest of the milk and stir like crazy.
