Surely it is the same meaning as VGA in the computer world ;


Colour display system that provides either 16 colours on screen and a resolution of 640 � 480, or 256 colours with a resolution of 320 � 200.

Billy is right, its the same as in computer terms.

VGA = 307,200 pixels or about a third of the resolution of a megapixel camera.
