Hi there I had a motorola phone and have just got a htc galaxy, cut my sim card to fit my new phone. Went into my settings on the new phone and it had a link to click on to copy from your previous phone so I put them side by side and did what it said, and even though my old phone didn't have a sim card in it, all my photos, music, contacts etc. copied over whilst I watched it do it. Go into your settings and see if it says "Copy your info from another phone, say yes and follow instructions, it did it for me, hope it works for you.

Although I don't have the knowledge to properly advise, I don't see how it can possibly do it automatically. How would one phone know it had to start transmitting and the other receiving ? At the least it surely must need you to select an option from somewhere to kick it off. Tammy may well have the answer .
