Sunday. So much for clear skies and wall to wall sunshine. It's still overcast. Not cold though. Yesterday was very warm although it was cloudy.
The lunch charter went very well. On the way down the canal glasses of wine were brought to us on the stern by a lovely lady in the party. At the TA my crewman and i were invited, nay, ordered, to join the party at their table. They were lovely people enjoying an 80th birthday of a lovely lady. We were not allowed to pay for our own drinks even. On the return journey cakes made by the same lovely lady were brought to us, along with more glasses of wine.
Back at Saul, they thanked up profusely and promised to come again, and said they would ask for us to be the crew again. A very enjoyable day.
Tiggy has only just gone to bed after a busy night. He ventured round to the front garden, but didn't go any further.
Well done with wee Maxie jen. It will be easier to train him now he has the idea. Ours always has 'selective deafness'. Could be twenty yards away and not hear you shouting your head off, but open a biscuit packet and they will hear it at half a mile. ;o}
