It been very warm and sunny for nearly 3 weeks now ! This is bordering on a drought !

Here on the north east we have had nothing but dark cloud and 18 degrees if we are lucky, been going on for nearly a month, so I would swop you anytime.

N. Wales has been glorious for nigh on 2 weeks now with the last 10 days rainless, hot, and sunny. I was talking to one of the ice cream vendors on Colwyn Bay prom on Thursday, and he said he had had his best week for 8 years. I have been watering the tubs and veg patch twice a day some days.

Ratter...Nice to see you are having the same up in your neck of the woods !

But cooler nights would be a blessing, and a really heavy downpour about 2100-2200 would help.

Its reached that time of the year when some of my less thoughtful neighbours like to see it in their front gardens, drinking copious amounts of larger, with the car stereos turned up full blast.....A downpour is the only thing that seems to work !

I just spent an hour digging up turf and re-laying it elswhere, I'm knackered, way to hot for me!! I've come in for a rest!

It is lovely there now. We were up at Betwys Y Coed in the week and it was hot and dry for miles around.

Had our first day of sunshine here in Leicester for over a week. We've had northerly winds and unending cloud and it's been really cold. Most people have had their central heating on!
