I'm making a fancy dress costume and need a piece 6'x4' Anyone know?

You could try Angels & Bermans Theatrical Costumiers in London's Covent Garden; if they can't help they may be able to point you in the right direction; it may seem a strange suggestion but I would also try Hamley's toy store in Regent Street, London; Also a firm that deals in props and displays (for theatres, shop windows...) - but I don't know any I am afraid.

Try your local greengrocers/market. They have that fake grass sheeting for covering shelves and might have spare sheets of a suitable size that they would be willing to part with
