is it immature to be an animal lover?

Barbara Woodhouse wasn't immature even as a child.

The queen loves her corgis, old ladies loves their cats and budgies.

People of all ages and sensibilities can be animal lovers.

No of course not.... it shows that you have compassion for other living things...how can that be bad???

I admit that I am not the sort of person who shows affection for other humans. Humans confuse me.

But I can relate to cats and dogs, they are straightforward and honest and never likely to hurt you....well, not if you discount my cat biting me and scratching me and bullying me etc.

Sadly George the pusscat was put to sleep last Wednesday. I am really upset and miss him loads.

I am animal-less for the first time in years and on the look out for a puppy so that I can be immature again - and I am 42.

I think it says more about the person who called you immature. If they can't understand your love for animals, then thats their problem not yours and are immature in the first place for saying so :o)

Seeing how some people are and act, I'd sometimes rather be sat with my cat than other hoomans!

Our nearly 17 year old Granddaughter is going to college in September to study 'Animal Care'.

Strange tho', cos she's very sensible & quite mature for her age!!!!

wolf63 im so sorry about what happened to your cat i've got a cat and i love him to bits but he has to go i'm really going to miss him.

wingnut i feel like being with animals all the time you know they'll be nice to you no matter what.
