Flight ticket? The only way ot can be used is if the name on the ticket matches the name on the passport of the person travelling. You have to contact the airline (travel agent if booked through them) and change the name on the booking. There's usually an admin fee (higher if the flight is scheduled rather than chartered) and if very close to date of travel you usually have to cancel the ticket (claiming on insurance if valid reason for cancellation) and then rebook in the new persons name
Yes Flight ticket my boy friend got the tickets ,with out waiting to see if I could get the time off work and is now making feel like **** saying he has to eat the ticket and theres no way soemone else can use it .
Some tickets - particularly discounted ones - are sold on a strict 'no changes permitted' basis in which case, obviously, the ticket can't be used by anyone else.
When changes to flight bookings are permitted, the administration fee can be quite high. (Although Ryanair don't fly to Greece, their fee for name changes will still serve as an example: It's 45).
booboo39...your ' eat the ticket' line made me giggle! It's exactly the sort of thing my husband would say too! Lol.
Hope you manage to get this sorted. Check in your booking confirmation or brochure booking conditions and your amendment/cancellation fees should be outlined...
