They are desperate, and fail to realise that the more desperate they sound, the more scaremongering they do, the more votes are piling up in the Brexit tray. I think it's in the bag now, thanks to Dave, Osborne and, of course, Geldof.

the latest scare story is likely to be all too true though. Mr Osborne says he'll need to institute a tax-raising spending-cutting emergency budget if the vote is "out". and he's likely to do just that even if he doesn't need to, so he can say "we told you so".

Mikey, perhaps you should look closer to home because according to Frank Field, "There’s a dangerous gap between Labour supporters and the parliamentary party on this issue. Europe isn’t working for workers any more".

Unlike the hypocrite Corbyn, senior Conservatives who oppose 'Remain' are, commendably, speaking out, but sadly for you the party will survive. Labour on the other hand is like a pub with no beer. A failed business with no customers.

I must say, I've been pleasantly surprised at the honesty and intelligence of the Labour Leave speakers I've heard. Fantastic orators, too, like the one who spoke in Peterborough, last night.

I might have voted Labour if these sort of people had taken their rightful place, at the head of the party.

Dodgy Dave and Gideon definitely have to go, I dont think May can hang on after either.

It's not really that much of a Tory split after them. All MP's from all parties are entitled to an opinion. I wont have any beef with those that fought for their convictions after. I only have a beef with the over the top scaremongering, lies and deceit of the above three, they have shown themselves to be unfit for office.

This sort of thing happens when there is an important cross party subject under discussion. I think it is more viscous in the Tory party because they are the government at present. The official government view thus being to remain subsumed by Europe in the hope we won't have to fend for ourselves any more.

As has been pointed out many times no one knows for sure what will happen to the economy, but the choice is to assume a rational reasonable range of possible futures, or to try to frighten those who don't believe as you do with extreme fantasy scenarios and then claim extreme measures are needed to compensate.

Of course those who support the other option are going to get very vocal in condemning that, regardless that it is someone in their own party putting the frighteners on.
