Beef kebabs?

Hi, I'd like to make beef kebabs for the first time. However I have very little experience cooking with beef.

I only have lean, diced stewing beef, and the instructions say to cook it in stock for 2-3 hours in the oven. How could I make kebabs with this meat? Cook it for a couple of hours in stock and then finish it off on the grill (on kebab sticks with all the veggies too)? Would this work?

Thanks!

Personally, I wouldn't cook it at all first.

get the cubes to around 1 inch across, then just cook on grill on kebab sticks

It's not the nest cut of beef in the world, but it'll make decent kebabs

I wouldn't make kebabs with stewing beef myself, I usually use rump steak or what my butcher calls a rump tail which is the bit of the rump that he cubes because it's not possible to cut decent steaks from. I think you'd have to grill stewing beef to death to make it edible.
Yes rump steak is the best for kebabs. Stewing beef needs stewing, hence the name!
No love, you can't make kebabs with stewing meat
Make your kebabs up then marinate over night in say red wine or barbecue sauce, which ever one you fancy. The juice of the marinade tenders the meat making it nice and moist once cooked under a grill
