I have just signed up and am confused as to why there are so many replies to one question that say "answer removed" ??

As one of the moderators who (very occasionally) removes posts, perhaps I can offer an explanation?

Let's suppose that person X posts an offensive post. That's immediately followed by posts from persons, A, B, C, D , E, (etc, etc) which read (for example):
"Disgusting!"
"Yes another troll, I see"
"Are there any moderators around?"
"You've obviously never suffered, X"
"Don't feed the trolls"
"You're sick, X"
etc, etc.

It's obviously my task, as a moderator to remove the post from X. However that alone would then leave loads of other posts which would be totally baffling to anyone joining the thread (and also not helping the person who posted the original question, in any way). So, under such circumstances, I will always remove ALL of the posts.

I've just replied to one from you (about volunteering) which seemed perfectly innocuous and that has been removed for some reason.
