Are American Christians More Violent Towards The Lgbt Community Than Islamic Governments And Isis Extremists?

Well, ThinkProgress, LGBT Editor Zach Ford seems to think they are, do you agree?
/// Ford argues that while Islamic governments and ISIS extremists both EXECUTE gay people, American Christians are somehow MORE violent towards the LGBT community. ///

The vast population of the U.S. means that statistically, you are going to get more of everything - and that includes Christian extremists.
Add in the greater impact that Christianity continues to have on large sections of American society, and again, that can lead to an increase in extremist views.
It is possible to find statistical evidence for most arguments - this is just one more.

The USA certainly has more than it's fair share of people who believe the Bible is literal truth and direct instruction from God.
So the bits that say that Homosexuality is an abomination , and the one sin that can never be forgiven are a divine directive as far as they are concerned
(Along with the bits that say it is OK for a daughter to get her Father drunk and then seduce him so as to get pregnant and continue the family line!)

Andy-hughes, //The vast population of the U.S. means that statistically, you are going to get more of everything - and that includes Christian extremists.//
The population of the Islamic countries combined far outstrips the population of the USA – who are not all Christian extremists.
This is nonsense.

// The European Union Times isn’t exactly a venerable news source akin to, say, The Associated Press. It is registered to Jessica Nachtman, wife of Christopher Nachtman. Christopher Nachtman is a former member of the neo-Nazi group National Alliance who more recently has been active in Volksfront, a racist skinhead group.
In October, Nachtman stabbed another man during an altercation at a luxury hotel in Palm Beach County, where Holocaust revisionist David Irving was giving a talk. No charges have been filed. The man who was stabbed, John Kopko, has also been involved in neo-Nazi activities in the past. Irving was quoted at the time as saying that Christopher Nachtman attended the event with his wife, Jessica, whom he said might open a bookstore and sell his books. The Nachtmans live in the semi-rural community of Loxahatchee in Palm Beach County, records show. [Editor's note: In her note to Hatewatch, Jessica Nachtman described herself as a "White Racialist," but not a Hitler worshipper. She said she "respectfully" quit the neo-Nazi White Revolution hate group after the stabbing incident and added that the white nationalist movement "is full of dirt bags, criminals, and unstable people," along with a a few responsible and intelligent people.//

The OP asks about American Christians, so bringing in other nations does not address it.
My post is not nonsense in this context - yours however is irrelevant.
