How To Stop A Large Mat Slipping On Carpet

Bought two large heavy duty door mats with rubber backs. They are on top of carpet and slip all over. Tried that anti slip waffle stuff and sticky back velcro but neither work!! Can anyone recommend anything?? :-)

Not sure if it's the same you've already tried, but the stuff you can buy from John Lewis has been perfect for us. Rug hasn't moved a millimetre.
