Do I need wifi if I want to use my iPad to show someone a photo.
We are going out for lunch tomorrow and I don't know if the pub has wifi.
Can I access my photos without a signal?

Disconnect your Ipad from the wifi and try it now. You should be able to but if you can't you'll have to download it from wherever it is stored online.

hc I don't know how to do that. I just pick up the signal. I would have to physically disconnect the router and that would affect OH on his laptop.

Caran, settings - wifi - off.

It's as simple as that, and of course it will reconnect to your wifi automatically when you switch it back on again :)

I just tested this. I turned off wifi and also my data connection and could still access my photos to view...I probably couldn’t email them or print them.
