I can't believe I watched all 3 episodes of this rubbish, sort of felt obligated after seeing the first one which was ok.

As to the ending, it was something to do with the solution to the wormhole being to leave it alone, as the efforts they were making to close it were actually causing the problem in the first place.

Well, thats what I think anyway, although I was finding watching a spider on the ceiling more interesting at that point.

i mean the very end where the journalist picks up an envelope addressed to him and inside is a cheque for the promised 5 million and a metal cross which he picks up and then drops it in his fish tank ,did the others get their money? and what was the significance of the cross and why did he drop it in his tank? then the credits go up ,if i would have stopped watching before this ,it was a perfectly good reasonable ending and i would have been entirely satisfied as i thoroughly enjoyed the whole 3 episodes except for the last minute

im not 100% sure but i believe that only he got the money because it was him that solved it by jumping thought the wormhole thus being able to avert the end of the world.

I think the cross was the victoria cross or some other military model and this I THINK he was given as a symbolic gesture at his saving of humanity

The cross was the one they found on the spaniards body that had crossed from the Chris Colombus ships onto the tanker.
