Can't Send Text Messages

My mother has a Doro mobile phone.Everything is working fine apart from she can't send SMS texts.We have tried all we can thing of so any advice would be great.

the silliest question I can think of to ask is has she got enough credit on phone?

If I remember rightly on Mr Alba's phone you type in the message then go to the TO box and select recipient.

Yes.She has credit.She can ring and receive texts but just can't send texts.

Hang on, is her IN box full? check the sent messages too.

You need to know the settings for your service provider SMS service, e.g. message centre etc. But usually that gets automatically set when you first get on the network via a data SMS. You might find this in the texts menu.

In your shoes I'd ask your supplier what the settings should be. It's possible they have them listed on their website somewhere.

If you ask nicely they may send you another set-up text and see if that solved it.

Doro’s customer service is lovely....phone or email them and ask for help.

Thanks.I rang Doro who talked me through the settings.My mother had somehow deleted part of the service providers number.Once I'd amended that she could send texts again.
