Sorry for the long email - but am not technaphobe
In May, you used 11GB against your monthly allowance of 10GB
We emailed you during the month to let you know you were getting close to going over your broadband allowance. Now that you've gone over, you'll need to pay £1.50 (changing to £1.80 from July 2016) for every 1GB extra you've used. So we'll be adding £1.50 to your next bill.
But there's good news. From July 2016, you'll get between 12% and 25% more broadband allowance, depending on your package.

We know it can be tricky knowing how much of your limit you are using especially if you're downloading a lot of large files. To help steer clear of additional costs in the future you may want to consider upgrading to one of our unlimited usage products.

If you spend a lot of your time online watching TV (BBC iPlayer), streaming videos (YouTube) and downloading films, you might benefit from BT TV. With BT TV you can watch On Demand programmes and films, and Catch-Up TV on your TV and your broadband usage won't be affected.
If you'd like to discuss the best option for you please give us a call on 0800 707 6044 (we're open 8am-9pm weekdays, 8am-8pm on Saturdays and 9am-6pm on Sundays).
We reset your broadband allowance on the first day of every calendar month. There are two easy ways to keep track of how much you're using.
Download the My BT app for the quickest way to check how much you're using on the go. All you need is an Apple or Android phone, and your BT ID.
Or you can check it online by logging into our broadband usage monitor.
Find out more about your broadband allowance here.
Thanks.

An update - I didn't know where I was.
First of all I thought I was unlimited broadband but it was unlimited talk.
(Received my bill today online and perused it thoroughly).
I am only awarded 10Gb per month and I had gone through that 10gb =- but it was only £1.50.
Have put bill into a folder and will keep an eye on it - genuinely I hadn't a clue re all these things.
Just hope wee cousin keeps ok. Thanks folks
