Help With Humax Box

The remote on my humax box has given up the ghost. It had been playing up for about a week. So OH decided to change the batteries. It is now as dead as a dodo. Which means I cannot access any thing I have recorded, or even record fresh stuff.
Anyone got any ideas what I can do with it.
Can you buy replacement remote controls for the box?

Yes, I had the same situation with a dead remote and bought a new one online recently. It worked a treat and is as good as new.

Google the name of the Humax box and model and the word remote and you'll find one on Amazon or Ebay. Make sure you see the picture of it and if it looks like your current one, go for it.
