Daniel Hannan On Newsnight
Offering his vision for the future of the UK is reasonably balanced and pleasantly conciliatory tone. (Also a note to Evan Davies in the first video: Hannan is correct, and he personally has been consistent in this message about not expecting immigration levels to reduce).
But the vision he offers appears to include continued free movement of Labour, continued high immigration from the EU, continued membership of the Common Market with the rules it entails (but without political membership, ergo less ability to influence those rules at all), and as much of the status quo as possible.
Thoughts? Do people agree with Hannan's vision, or would they want something else?

I've been listening, with pleasure, to Daniel Hannan for years. He's trying to be conciliatory towards you losers. Don't know why he bothers. He should just tell you, you lost, get over it.

Svejk,
I suggest you read about the European Economic Area, which Hannan enthuses about in the links on the previous page. The EEA is his solution for post brexit.
// The European Economic Area (EEA) is the area in which the Agreement on the EEA provides for the free movement of persons, goods, services and capital within the internal market of the European Union (EU). The EEA was established on 1 January 1994 upon entry into force of the EEA Agreement. //

It would pay you lads to actually read the links you cite before putting them up.
In every link he says 'we can do better than Norway' and that it's only remainers who keep 'banging on' about us having to accept a similar deal.
Open your brain cell and reread what the man is actually saying, not what you'd like him to be saying.

I think the tone is right: the nation is profoundly divided about our future. One decision only can be determined by ballot. Do not sneer at or gloat because you/we/or whoever has won. Leave the EU in an orderly fashion. Try to persuade the very large minority of remainers that life exists on other planets, and explain to our European friends that governing our local affairs is not an indication of hostility to you.
