Apparently, Angela Merkel taking quite a conciliatory stance whilst JC Junckers is furious - is it because the EU are going to lose their main cash cow. On a lighter note, I think the old Dad's Army song could be appropriate here (with a slight modification)

We are not the EUs main cash cow, we are 4th behind Germany, France and Italy.
You can hardly expect Juncker to be pleased, losing one of the children on his watch.
