Cat Flap...

We have been adopted by her ladyship. To aid her access to home/ garden we have installed a cat flap. She is happy to use it to go out but seems to need her servants to open it when she returns. Is there any way that we can encourage her to use it to come in? we have tried cat treats and pulling it open from the inside but she has resolutely stayed outside, even during thunderstorms, lightning and downpours.

Tape it open whilst you are in the house and leave a bowl of tuna on the inside so that she can smell it. Then leave her to it!

Her ladyship is like most cats - a little madam who wants you to know that she is in charge!!

Thanks... tuna it wil be ....for a couple of days..... we have tried it with dry food but that evidently does not have the same cat attracting aroma!
