I wonder is true that the "Go and stab one tonight" advert got banned?

I clearly remember such an advert on Warwick Road in London, huge hoarding, it would have been 1973 or ’74. I know for certain it was subsequently banned, though my evidence relies upon memory alone, which also tells me that the slogan was simply Stab One Tonight, minus "Go and", and featured a fork spearing a sausage from a ten o’clock direction.

The reason given for the banning was that a mentally ill person accustomed to hear voices etc from an allegedly divine source would take it as encouragement for a random killing
