It is the case that she wishes Scotland to remain within the EU. and, in that direction, is prepared to have a further Referendum in an endeavour to achieve her Country's Independence from the UK.

I wonder if she is aware that Independence will mean that Scotland then becomes a Foreign Country and subjected to strict Border Controls, that can now be applied to all European Countries.. Anyone leaving Scotland to work/live in England, Wales or Northen Ireland will be regarded as Immigrants and processed accordingly.

^^^For Nicols please read Nicola.
YES.
She is only happy when she gets her own way, I pity her partner ( if she has one)
She is married to the SNP Chief Executive.
she has neither majority in Holyrood nor mandate in place to entitle her to another referendum without Westminster approval....the people have spoken Nicola on BOTH counts..move on !
Also the English tax payers would not have to subsidize Scotland.
exactly Hans, with all the ramifications of her currency the Sc(r)otum linked to the Euro and taxes between Her Majesty's Republic of England and Wales. Mind you, she could annex Northern Ireland (seriously) as the Prossies would prefer that than Dublin.

Actually, if it wasn't for my mother, I may seriously look at moving to Ireland, or Scotland if they do split (their taxes depending - but then the ones here will go through the roof).
the Sc(r)otum would, of course, have a hairy ride......
She may well get a common travel area deal. But I really can't believe she'd get the support for a break.
Did you really mean to say 'Prossies'?
yep, there's a famous joke about that term in Northern Ireland, jackdaw....want me to dig it out?
An Irish daughter had not been home for over five years. Upon her return, her father cursed her.

"Where the feck have ye been all this time? Why did ye not write to us at all? Why didn't ye call? Can ye not understand what ye put yer old mum thru?"

The girl, crying, replied, "Sniff... Dad... I became a prostitute."

"Ye what!!? Get out, ye shameless harlot! Sinner! You're a disgrace!"

"OK, Dad -- as ye wish. I just came back to give mum this luxurious fur coat, title deed to a 10 bedroom mansion plus a savings certificate for £5 million."

"For me brother, this gold Rolex and for ye daddy, the brand new Mercedes convertible that's parked outside, a membership to the country club, an invitation for ye all to spend New Years Eve on board my new yacht in the Riviera, and a new..."

"Now what was it ye said ye had become?" says dad.

The girl, crying again, "A prostitute!

"Oh! Ye scared me to death, girl! I thought ye said a Protestant.
DTC. Showing how classy he is. !!!!!.!

yep, anne - I may become your next door neighbour...... ;-)
HANS, the UK already has a land border with a foreign country, Eire and I am not aware of strict border controls with them so why should there be any with Scotland?
Not all Scots voted to remain in fact only about 70% bothered to vote either way.
If there is another indipendant vote turn out will be higher and the in will win again.
