I apologise in advance as I know I'm supposed to be asking a question but .... I thought Anne would like to know this.
My son's inquest was last week, diagnosis was accidental death with no sign at all of alcohol in his blood.
After years of worrying about what would happen to him due to his alcohol dependence this had to happen when he was sober!
I hope you and yours are well xx

Good for him, Masma. It is an official report so it just shows how hard he tried and succeeded. I hope this helps you in some way.
Oh no masma, do you know I hope this is of small comfort to you, such a tragedy , but you never gave up on him and I have always admired you for that. Whatever they may do they will always be our children. Thank you so much for the post. Anne x
Oh Masma, it won't diminish your grief or indeed your love for him - but maybe it will make you extra proud of how well he did.x
Oh, Masma.......how tragic.....but as Anne said....many of us were full of admiration for you......the way you stood by your son....loved him and did your best for him.......you were fantastic....Gx

Thank you all - all I can say is we did our best for him and loved him unconditionally, even though it didn't seem like it at times. We just have to scatter his ashes now then, hopefully, will start to feel a bit better.

Smoball - he was 45 and the dearest soul to ever walk this earth, he helped anyone who needed help from doing DIY to computer repairs to looking after our disabled neighbour (he never would accept payment for anything he did) and after he died he donated his kidneys and heart valves. We have been told that 2 people are doing very well after receiving his kidneys. He just had this dreadful illness that in the end destroyed him.
