Stairlift Costs?

Hi, my parents health has deteriorated quite rapidly recently, they are 79 and 84, and look like they need help getting upstairs. Can anyone give me a rough ball park price I can expect to pay for a straight forward chairlift. No turns just straight up and down. TIA

When comparing prices make sure you look at "Brooks Stairlifts". My Mum & Dad have had one over 7 years and had no bother with it at all. I believe they are much cheaper than Stannah so well worth a look.

You can get reconditioned stair lifts as well which work out cheaper. Sorry but I don't know the prices but when I've spoken to in-laws I will let you know.

You can find them on ebay very cheap, the guy next door paid less than £200 for his.

If you need a stair lift tell your GP, you may get a new one fitted free like we did and maintained free.
