I bought a beautiful red and purple fuchsia three years ago and planted in a big terracotta pot. It's flowered every year but this year nothing - it doesn't even have any flower buds! Not a jot. It's full of healthy leaves so I'm a bit baffled. Any ideas??

That is exactly the same as one of mine which is also in a pot so I will also be interested in any replies. All the other fuschias are doing well.

How strange lol
Try a food designed for flowering plants like flowerite as it might be getting too much nitrogen which will make it produce leaves at the expense of flowers. It might flower late if you are lucky.
Do not cut back new growth, I am sure that it is next years flowers. Keep it in the sun, do not over water this year. Come Autumn, keep sheltered from hard frost, and only trim what you can do without. You may yet get flowers, things have been strange in the garden this year as well, Fuschias are hardy and amazing plants.
Mine, of which I have 6 of the same variety in pots out the front of the house, are a bit sparse of flowers and buds this year.
