As anybody been involved in a grievance meeting ?

Yes - as an employer.

Don't forget that you are entitled to representation at the meeting. A union rep, or a friend who can act as a witness to what is being said.
Its important you set the grievance out in writting stating the content and reason,you can if you wish have representation.Make sure that the grievance has been formally responded to by a company representative by letter,you also need to ask what the next stage is if you wsh to further persue your grievance,also make sure that if there is a conclusion to your grievance that this also is formally responded too as well,this will help for any future issue on the same level.
