What Would Surprise People The Most About You??
52 Answers
For me, it would probably shock most people I know to find out that about 11 years ago I stood in for a policewoman kissogram who was ill and I had to whip off my policewomans jacket, blouse and hat and fling them into the air and sit on the birthday boys knee! ( think Only Fools and Horses/Raquel episode).
How about you lot??

//In real life I can, sometimes, be quite a nice guy. //
Unlike Balders I can be ten times worse when I meet some people face to face in' real life'. Oh forgot. I have been certified as well.
and licensed by the BGA to fly Gliders solo.
Enough about me it does so bore some who live such more interesting lives than I apparently. :-)
Too true. Her Chauffeur, Dave Griffin, kept me well supplied with G&T. I laughed when he thrust a salver of cocktail sausage rolls over her shoulder whilst talking to us and said, spitting pastry crumbs over us all," Have you tried these M'am. They are the dogs doo dahs this year?"
I think back stairs Billy, who had been seconded from St James Palace for the night had to take over Dave's duties as meeter/greeter and waiter and some one led Mr Griffin to his cottage.. Happy days. :-)

"I'd love to fly a glider solo one day. "
Done that. Went solo after 28 launches at RAF White Waltham in the 1960s. I was in the Air Training Corps and it cost me seven shillings (35p). We had to pay one shilling a day for our "keep". The rest was free. Believe a similar course today will cost around £600.
Had a part share in a glider for around seven years in the 1970s.

I'm always fully made-up when I'm out of the house, and am almost obsessive about matching earrings to bangles etc, and try to have shoes and handbag matching and wouldn't dream of wearing brown shoes/boots with black trousers. In fact, I look very prim. But I love the look on people's faces when I drop the F or C bomb! :D x x
