Another Scorcher Today

We went to the Food Festival in Gloucester today. Lots of stalls, lots of tastings.
Bought lots of sausages, wild boar, venison and zebra, heaven knows what they will taste like!
It's going to things like this that makes you realise you are getting old. I had to keep sitting down for a rest. The heat didn't help really.
I am still feeling shattered.

Yes but think back only 10 days Caran - it was really cold, we were away in our caravan and had the blown air heating on 3 evenings with a blanket on the bed! You can bet your bottom dollar we will lose the nice Summer weather soon - we go away again in 10 days time!

We go away next Friday to a few miles from Boppard in Germany for a week.
Based on the Rhine with lots of places to see. Just hope all the problems at Dover are sorted before then.

Yes Caran - the queues are horrendous! Been watching on the news. They have airlifted 11, 000 bottles of water to people stranded. My main worry if I was stuck for 12 hours is where would I go to the loo? :(

That's what is worrying me. I have told OH we will be turning round and going home if we end up in that situation.
