I hoped that the Lynx had gone back home. Someone might be cruel to it or shoot it. It would be terrified of Miss W. I like her but she is scary.

I hope nobody kills the Devon lynx. You always get the nutters who want a trophy (as in that male red deer on Exmoor a few years ago) It`s hard to catch a wild cat though - a large black cat (along the lines of the so called Beast Of Exmoor) roamed around our village for some years. They are very elusive and although quite a few of us saw it, nobody even managed to photograph it let alone anything else. I hope the Devon lynx is able to catch it`s own food though or the future will not be good.
