I Have A Samsung Gt-E1150 Phone.

I know it's a museum piece but it does all I need a phone for. There's one real irritant. Every time I press a key it emits a musical note.
Anybody know how to turn this off?

go to menu; > settings; > sound;> volume.> From there you can raise or lower the volume or mute the keypad and other sounds
I can't see any reference to it in the (remarkably brief) manual

However there might be something relevant under Options>Edit. (Take a look under 'Adjust the volume' to see what you need to press initially and then see if anything relevant is offered to you from there)

Got it. in my profile mute xylophone option did the trick
I was seriously considering Baldric's method.
