bon jovi concert

we are going to st marys stadium southampton, to see bon jovi on the 9th of june. The gates open at 4pm but does anybody know what time the concert starts ?

Most stadium/outdoor gigs where the doors are at 4pm generally kick off fairly soon after with the support acts.

4pm doors will mean about 2-3 support acts, and I'd be surprised if Bon Jovi actually hit the stage before 9.

I've been to a lot of gigs and they all roughly follow similar timescales.

Maybe even 10pm, more time to drink overpriced beer, eat overpriced food etc etc. My advice is ring the venue ask what time approx they will be on and get there for around that time. Nothing worse that spending 6 hours bored watching bands you dont want to see.

Saw Bon Jovi at Manchester last night. Gates opened at 4pm. First act on 5.30pm, Nickelback on at 6.30 till 7.30. Bon Jovi on at 8pm, for just under 3 hours!!!! FAB FAB FAB

PS:- First support was a local band, who won a competition on a local radio. So presume would be same situation in Southampton
