Suppose you are in the bath with Beyonce Knowles and Beyonce sent up a few unexpected bubbles. It is no longer socially acceptable for you to exclaim "Good God, was that you", but, to be acceptable, you must now say approvingly "Rorty Crankle, Beyonce, Rorty Crankle !
The etiquette of Midgardrelm has a cetain appeal to it, perhaps akin to that of a 10 ton steam roller. However, here at Luton Uni all 847 girl students look exactly like Beyonce Knowles. Every Friday they are fed beans for breakfast, beans on toast for lunch and beans and sausages for dinner. At 8.30pm all are assembled in our swimming pool, and the lads stand around the edge shouting "Rorty Crankle, Rorty Crankle, Rorty Crankle, Rorty Crankle" !! At this the girls start to effervesce, more and more and more as the "Rorty Crankle's" increase. The bubbles are collected by a large duct in the swimming pool ceiling, and then compressed into a storage cylinder for later use as fuel in the Uni central heating system. Next year we hope to go into the pipeline business and export the surplus to various local interested parties. Prince Charles is very proud of our eco achievement.
