trying to locate a website i once visiited featuring an extensive list of photos of uk where you can select the type of building you wish to see ( commercial, residential, church, industrial , farm etc etc or also by the photographer) , i know there is one called iirc geography uk but that is not it

It sounds like Geograph. The pics are submitted by the public and the idea is to create a collection of pics from each and every grid square in the uk. I've got a few on there.

I don't think it's the site you were thinking of but you can still search for different types of building.

sounds like geography but im sure it isn;t
