Windows Ten Anniversary Update?
6 Answers
Well I've just experienced the latest 'phase' of upates from Microsoft, the Anniversary update! It took 4 hours ( I have a slow broadband connection) and everything has been ***d about again. It took me days to sort the last lot out and now I have to repeat the whole thing! Agh,but! The Windows.old folder is back!!! (take note OG). But now I have to find a way to stop MS from getting in to my system and 're-arranging' things again.
I'm tempted to go back to Windows 7.
Cheers all

Needless to say I won't be attempting anything like it again. I suppose one day Microsoft will get the hang of designing operating systems for computers but they are not there yet.

So,it seems I've been fooling myself! The 'new' Windows.old folder will actually contain the last version of Windows ten that replaced the windows.old that used to contain my windows7?
I have noticed though that windows ten HAS slowed everything down and this latest update is so confusing.
Cheers all.
