Feel stupid asking this question as I am pretty handy at DIY and mechanics.
Skoda Fabia 2010.
The rear wheels. After taking out all nuts I find it impossible to remove the wheel. Am I missing something?
Manual is no help as it just says to do what I have done.

Did you forget to release the parking brake?

Support the car by placing something solid like the spare wheel or a large block of wood under the sill while it's jacked up and lastly, watch out for rebound of the hammer off the tyre.

Got it off. Hammer job! Thanks both.
TheChair, leaving the parking brake on won't stop the wheel coming off.
However it might stop the car toppling off the jack.
