Surely the reaction from the general public would have been the same if a Christian preacher was being abused, or for that fact if anyone else was?

IMHO you yourself are full of "bile" you spout just as much as others do. It's more commonly called a difference of opinion, problem is you rarely respect anyones opinion if it differs from yours. //
I respect anyone's opinion, including those different from mine - where I draw the line is being accused of ignorance and stupidity because my view is different from some who post on here.
But this is drifting off thread, so I am going to leave this particular section of argument parked here.

AOG - //Yes but aren't those mix of races called the 'minorities'? //
That depends on the area.
I would suggest that Christians are in the minority in any area in the UK - even though you refer to the location as a 'Christian area'.
I am unsure why a castle and a supermarket are 'Christian areas ' - perhaps you could expand your point?

Yeah, why does that happen to you with alarming propensity......?
Genuine question. //
As I said to YMB, I am not going down the road of taking the discussion off-thread while you and I debate this - it goes nowhere, so I will decline to respond.
Thank you.

It is blatantly obvious that these two set out to prove a point, but not only that but to get another to record it on film, the point being that no one would go out their way in defence of a Muslim.
But unfortunately for these three their 'social experiment' backfired on them, and the general public don't like to see people abused no matter from what race or religion.

You appear to be hoist by your own petard here AOG - from your own link -
// Sixth form student Fahim said he and his friend, who are both Muslim, were thrilled with the results.
He said: 'We couldn't have asked for a better reaction from people and it has made me confident that the people of Cardiff are all part of one society.
'It's about communication and bringing people together and if this video helps to connect people then that is the main thing.' //
That doesn't sound anything like your summary of their motives - does it?
