Mrs Overall

This is possibly the hardest thing we have ever had to type.

We happened to be together this afternoon, when calls came from Mrs Overall's family letting both of us know that she sadly passed away a few days ago.

We have been asked not to release any further details yet (or to identify Mrs O in any way) in case other friends and/or family see this before being told in person.

This simple announcement is what Mrs O had asked each of us to do "if the worst happens".

We have lost a wonderful friend and are both sad beyond belief.

incidentally....I sent flowers to Mrs O when she was discharged from hossie last year..her words ;

" I adore flowers, but they are for the living, if anyone sends flowers to my funeral I will come back and haunt them "

My friend's granny who lived until 103 - always said

never buy me flowers cos you can't eat them, drink or smoke them. Funny lady.

RIP Mrs O
A very funny, witty and lovely lady that will be greatly missed.

I could hardly believe it when I received the tragic news earlier this week.

I'm gonna miss having my name underlined in Red in ' The Book ' and the occasional smack around the kisser with a wet mackerel and even the occasional whack around the back of my head with a Marigold glove filled with damp sand.

I am aware I have my detractors on here, I never had direct contact with Mrs O on this site but have read a lot of her OPs and think she is going to be sadly missed, RIP.
