Walkman

I have just boughi a walkman which I enjoy. But being deaf - I am looking for one which tell me "in writing" where I am - you know - This Radio l,,,This is Radio Ulster, This is 105 so that I know where I am actually tuning into. Rather than the wee light.

Thanks MM - I'd need to go into a special music shop to get them to show me some examples. At the mo I just go by a wee light but don't know what station it is - 105, downtown, radio ulster, radio 1, radio 2 etc so that if I found what pleasant music there is I wouldn't even know where to go. But I'm good with Radio Ulster on Sat and Sund night but I am sure there is easy listening music other nights. I feel sure the music calms me down and lightens me up a bit. xx

well well - received the wee walkman thingmajig but unfortunately even when I turn it up high it is not high enough for me.

I know I can send it back but do like "seeing" the information on it. Can you buy "amplified earphones". Yes, I have googled but I wouldn't know where to start with these wee boxes and dont understand them and also do not want to pay dear for them.

thanks Tambo - there were only 2 reviews would that be right.

Guess got the walkman for half price so if I buy these am paying full price - will give it a thought. Either buy them or send the walkman back.
