Hi all,

Any of you clever bods find out via the net where the new building for HMRC is going to be in Belfast?

When I used to live there it was Dorchester House, Windsor Hse, Beaufort and of course down at the Docks.

But a friend has mentioned they are taking over a new building but it is all hush hush - surely in this day and age secrets are not really secrets.

I am sure that you will be able to find out this information. Are you thinking of applying for a job there. Civil service jobs are a cushy number, it is all tea drinking, eating biscuits and gossiping.

Redhelen would have sussed it out but she appears to have vanished.

Civil Service jobs have not been like that for years, very insecure nowadays

Prudie - I was medically retired when I was 40 (2004) from the civil service and the amount of changes since then is quite scary. I may have been taking the piddle :-)

i kinda knew it was TIC wolf, I remember you worked for them. So do/did I for 20 years and having watched colleagues leave in their droves on 'voluntary redundancy'. 1 person now doing the work of 3 and the final insult of being sold into the private sector last year I can't help jumping to their defence :-)
