They are wonderful wee things. I love seeing them. I've never seen that since. We used to go for a walk down the lane every evening in October, hoping to see it again, in case it was an annual migration or something. No joy though.
Good morning wbmxxx and all xxx nice and sunny . Just heard on tv summer ends in 2 days hope they are wrong as this is my kind
of weather .have a good day all,
why they move on isn't that well known.....also had the rooks go, thanks to Farmer Matthews with his LPG guns, supposedly to keep the pheasants off his planted fields - fat chance of that mate, the pea-brains kept pecking away. The rooks all disappeared, thank goodness, as it has allowed in a bigger variety of avian species...
Pheasants take no notice whatsoever of sudden noises. Crows are pain ain't they. Got some around here, but not as many as there used to be. It's fun watching them beating the shythawks. (seagulls)
Wonderful weather yesterday....we had a nice long walk on a deserted beach, and managed to pick about a pound of blackberries. I forgot to put my Factor 50 on, so I had my own central heating last night !
looks like another nice day today as well....we are blessed !
