Cyst On Testicle

my BIL is suffering pain & cant walk far. Told he needs op last Feb but hospital still havent given him a date for op. He is living on paracetomols...so sad to see him suffer.

What can be done to relieve his pain/hurry the op ?

Replace the Paracetamols with Ibuprofen .

Not everyone can take Ibuprofen !!

How important is his condition; he's 60ish.

Try 400mgms to start with, if that doesn't help then 600mgms every 6 hours if necessary.

The chances are that is benign, particularly as you mentioned the word...cyst which invokes a feeling of being benign (not malignant)

Not if it is a cyst, but the pain would seem to suggest that his admission needs expediting.
He should ask his GP to contact the surgeon or his secretary.

Tambo there may be infection can he go back to his Gp for review? Better painkillers and supportive underwear too xx
