No thanks.
It doesn't push my buttons...
Not for me either.
Well we still trudge down to the local supermarket to get our weekly groceries , even though they do groceries delivered to your door .

Therefore we won't be first to jump on this vehicle

Thanks for the replies so far (which don't exactly surprise me!)

I am definately interested, but only if /when the brand range increases as those things that i want to buy from amazon aren't those brands availabe at the moment. We do actually buy a fair amount from amazon (big stuff like dog food) but atm i get them as subscribe and save, meaning 15% off, so i'll prob just carry on with that for as long as poss. Now we are not using nappies and wipes i c cant get them on subscribe and save any more
Just *who* needs to be able to urgently order more Play-Doh like this? Stationery supplies or toy guns? Seriously?

Utterly ridiculous idea IMO, no thanks.
What's wrong with the good old fashioned method of things like tesco.com.

I drink a lot and get that delivered and cat food and cat litter. Plus everything else.

You'd have to sort out who in the house is responsible for pushing the button. Assume someone else has done it and you won't get your order.

Probably unsurprisingly, it seems to be only expensive brands that are available through the system.

45 toilet rolls would cost me £7.43 at Asda (based upon actually buying 12 rolls for £1.98 and, as I normally do, getting their 'Smart Price' ones). 45 Andrex rolls ('cos that's the smallest quantity you can buy with the press of a button) would cost me £17.50. So that's an extra tenner just on one purchase.

Unlike Bednobs, I can't see any great benefit in the system but perhaps that's because:
(a) I live alone and therefore don't buy items in large quantities ; and
(b) I'm an impecunious skinflint anyway.
In a few thousand years time , there will be no need for such mundane things like eating .

Other products , will also be available from a replicator
I do the majority of my shopping online but I am far from 'Brand loyal' - I go for the products on offer at the time.

So it's a no from me - I'm out.
Smart *** do Not run out of toilet paper. So I shall Not be signing-up.

Hans.
