We are off to France tomorrow for 10 days. It is absolutely bucketing it down at the moment.
Apparently there will be long delays on the M20 from junction 1-4 while they repair the bridge that fell down last week.
Not looking forward to return journey with all the conflict around the ferry terminal. Just told OH to look out something we can defend ourselves with if necessary!

Have been to France by car many times - where are you staying? X
Here's the forecast from the French equivalent of our Met Office:

Click on the days down the left and then on the required time period.
For example, the forecast for Wednesday afternoon is for cloudless skies and temperatures between 21C and 29C (depending upon your location). It all looks good to me!
Scorchio next week Caran. Have the wheel brace out handy( just in case you get a puncture you understand).

We are staying about 60 miles east of Paris. Only a small town but lots of places to go to.
It's one of the holidays from the newspapers where you collect tokens. It's only costing about £160 including the ferry cost.
Chris couldn't get your link to work. OH has looked at the weather in France and he thinks we may be ok.

Of course they are soul I got confused, (again)!
Caran, be safe, be aware, lock your doors, Travel in daylight & if possible do not stop on your return near the port.
I'm assuming your using Dover as a crossing point? Consider using A2/M2 instead of M20.

I used this as an alternative earlier in the week visiting relatives in Dover. All well signposted for the ferries.
