Bargains Are About In Supermarkets.

It was purely by accident that yesterday I passed through the 'Home Section' of the Supermarket where my wife and I do our weekly shop for food and other household items; cleaning materials etc. Well to my surprise there was an HP keyboard on offer at £9.99. My eyes lit up because my HP keyboard was looking really pathetic . It was then that I noticed on the bottom shelf of the display section that the very same keyboard was on offer with a mouse for the unrealistic price of £6.00. Consequently' without any further thoughts, I put the the boxed item in the trolley.
I have now 'set-up' the C2500 package and it is performing superbly on my old PC, which is loaded with Windows Vista and is being used for this posting.
I am Not too sure if it is in order to tell you the name of the Supermarket, for fear of unauthorised advertising in AB. Consequently, I shall merely say that S stands for Supermarket.

No hurry really, it's just annoying. Glad you got yours sorted though and an emergency one is a good idea. The rather jazzy keyboard in Ed's link mentioned a Mac but that is too chunky and heavy looking for my super slim Macbook Air. An alternative would be to learn to touch type of course then it wouldn't matter but I don't think that's going to happen.
Ladybird,

Thanks again trt. Your link was certainly an eye opener. I want a genuine Macbook Air 11" 2010 though and have found just one on eBay for £20 which matches the identity number of mine. I shall now watch a YouTube video on how to change it over. Depending on how difficult that looks, I might just get some stick on letters as long as they stay stuck on!
Brilliant trt, thank you so much for your trouble. Macs have a keyboard with a different layout so I'll have a nose around tomorrow and see what I can find. Otherwise I'll just replace the odd worn keys. For that price it is worth trying first, before buying and fitting a new keyboard. Thank you very much.
