Free Apple Download

I keep getting a grey screen which tells me I have a free apple download, it only happens when I'm on AB, and only when I change subjects, and not every time. I just keep shutting it down and it seems it eventually gives up for a while but then reappears later.
Does anyone else get this? Is it some sort of scam? I've tried googling to find out but although there seem to be similar things, I can't find anything the same.
I use an iPad.
