A Gness-Like Problem

Right. I had to drive to Clifton Park Hospital York, today, to have unpleasant steroid injections into my left wrist. He was running late so I stopped-off at Tesco's for a sandwich and drink; naturally I wandered upstairs into the 'Sales' clothing dept...................

A while later I had found and tried on some creamy , lace, Capri pants (£6!!!!!). I chucked them into my basket and went on to find a bit of salad, cheese and some tonic.

Cheerful blonde 'bimbo' on checkout and I chatted away to her. Paid on my debit card, invoice collected on way out of the store - checked it, all OK, so ripped-up and dumped till receipt.

SNAG! I got home, showed off said item of clothing to OH and then realised that the security tag was still attached - she'd removed all the price and 'sale' labels.

OH has tried for a few hours to remove said tag - any ideas anyone? Who will believe me if I turn up at a Tesco's without an invoice and asking for help? Help!!

Painful wrist injection ,they can use a pain free spray but you have to ask for it. It makes it alot more bareable.

Thanks so much for advice, everyone - tomorrow I broach Tesco's in Driffield armed with mini-statement. Also thanks for advice re wrist (now an unpleasant brown and purply colour :(. )

Yeaah! :) Problem solved! I got the mini-statement and walked into Tesco's (expecting the alarm to go off, but it didn't) went to the Customer Services desk bearing pants, statement and Tesco card - and the cheery chappie just said 'Left the tag on then, did they, love? No problem, I'll get it off for you.'

Statement and card were waved aside 'This happens a lot, not to worry.'
