im trying to make a soundtrack for a film studies project. and im looking for music a lot like fiona apple's song sleep to dream, can anyone recommend any? not necessarily depressing, maybe quite mellow/positive, like motorcycle drive by by third eye blind. thanks

The only thing I can think of is investigate artists similar to fiona....try rachel yamagata, beccy owen and maybe even kathryn williams. The first two are piano led like fiona, and kathryn is more acoustic guitar. not sure if that's any help at all but thought i'd add my ideas.
